Our tailored approach to scar treatment, combines innovative treatment techniques with expert care to help you achieve visible improvements.

Which types of scars do we treat?

  • Atrophic scars – Depressed scars that sit below the surrounding skin, often caused by acne or chickenpox.
  • Hypertrophic scars – Raised, firm scars that remain within the wound’s boundaries.
  • Keloids – Overgrown, raised scars that extend beyond the original injury.
  • Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) – Darkened patches left after injury or acne, not true scars but often treated similarly.
  • Contracture scars – Usually resulting from burns, these cause skin tightening and may restrict movement.

Our scar treatment options

  • Subcision - A minimally invasive technique where a fine needle is inserted beneath atrophic (sunken) scars to release the fibres pulling the skin downward. This allows the skin to lift.
  • Microneedling - Controlled micro-injuries encourage natural collagen production. Ideal for acne scars.
  • Fractional Laser - A non-ablative resurfacing treatment that improves skin texture and pigmentation by targeting small areas of skin.
  • PicoSure Laser - Uses short bursts of energy to break up pigment and stimulate skin regeneration with minimal downtime.
  • Infini Radiofrequency Microneedling - Combines microneedles with radiofrequency energy to tighten atrophic scars.
  • Chemical Peels - Tailored acid-based exfoliation improves pigmentation and superficial scars by encouraging skin cell renewal.

Each treatment plan is personalised based on the scar type, skin tone, and desired outcome. In some cases, we may combine multiple treatments for enhanced results.

Frequently asked questions

This depends on your treatment plan. For example, a typical subcision treatment should take around 30 - 60 minutes, depending on the patient's profile and severity of the scar.

This depends on the individual situation of each patient and also the severity of the scar. However, you can expect to start seeing results after 3-4 sessions.

Here are a few things to take into account before and after your treatment.

Before:

  • Shave any facial hair around the treated area
  • Remove make-up

In the 24 hours after:

  • Don't apply make-up
  • Don't remove any dressings from the treated area
  • Avoid hot food, hot drinks, smoking and alcohol

In the 48 hours after:

  • Avoid vigorous exercise
  • Try not to touch the treated area, as this could cause an infection

The treatment price varies depending on a number of factors, including the severity of the scar, the type of scar, how old it is and where it's located on the body. For this reason we can only give you an accurate estimate at your initial consultation after we've had a chance to inspect the scar.
