Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling is a highly effective treatment for a variety of skin conditions.
By combining microneedling with radiofrequency technology, the treatment can be performed more accurately and more effectively than traditional microneedling alone.
RF microneedling can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, smooth out skin imperfections and treat scars left behind by an acne outbreak. It can also improve the tone and texture of your skin.
The Infini RF microneedling machine
In our Dublin clinic we use the Infini RF microneedling machine. The Infini is one of the leading machines on the market which helps to reduce the risk of damage to the surface of your skin.
It works by firstly using radiofrequency technology to gently heat the surface of your skin to stimulate collagen production. Then, the microneedling element makes tiny punctures in the surface of your skin, a process which stimulates your body to replace old skin cells.
The result is smoother, firmer, more youthful-looking skin.

The first component of the treatment is the radiofrequency, which gently heats the surface layer of your skin. This stimulates the production of collagen in your body, which in turn helps to keep your skin looking firm, fresh and smooth.
The second component is the microneedling, which uses a series of tiny needles to puncture the surface of your skin. This causes unnoticeable damage to your skin, which stimulates your body to replace old skin cells.
By combining these two components, you have an ultra-safe, ultra-effective way of improving the tone and texture of your skin.
RF microneedling can treat a variety of skin conditions including acne scars, lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, sun damage, stretch marks and more.
This treatment is perfectly safe and suitable for all skin types. Some short-term side effects such as redness, swelling, bruise, mild burning sensation or fine crusts of the skin are not uncommon, but these tend to subside quickly.
A typical RF microneedling session takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
Although this depends on each patient's individual situation, you'll typically start to see real improvements to your skin after three or four sessions. Each treatment will be spaced a month or so apart.
Some patients will see near-immediate results.

To book an appointment you'll firstly have to arrange an initial consultation with us, which costs €30 and is deducted from the price of the treatment should you decide to go ahead with it.
